Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training
About The Course
While PPE is in the lowest hierarchy of control, PPE usage is no doubt the most used or preferred methods for reducing exposure to hazards. However, the selection, issuance usage, maintenance, cleaning and disposal/exchange of PPE being one of the most important considerations is often being left unchecked.
Some OSH practitioners may find it challenging due to the lack of understanding either being unclear or simply the lack of knowledge due to the abundance of PPE in the market. Selection of wrong PPE is similar to improperly or wrongly worn, rendering them useless or having lower and ineffective protection for the employees.
As such, this course is designed to cover the various aspects of PPE and their consideration during usage in the workplace.
